Camera Ready Submission Instructions

Please follow the following steps to finalize your paper. Each step MUST be COMPLETED, in order for the paper to appear in the conference proceedings and be submitted to the IEEE Digital Library.

 


Step 1: Final Paper Preparation


1. You are requested to revise your manuscript carefully according to the comments of the reviewers and do thorough proofreading of the manuscript to confirm that it will require no revision.

2. Please arrange the article according to the template provided in the conference websitehttps://www.hdis.world/portal/list/index/id/9.html  (to ensure your paper to pass the IEEE check, we strongly recommend you to use LaTeX template)

3. The maximum paper length is eight (8) printed pages for regular paper, and five (5) printed pages for short paper (including figures, tables, and references). Regular paper should be no less than 5 pages. If the paper exceeds page limitations, extra pages should be paid.


Note:

· Do not mark any revisions.

· Do not add any page numbering, header, or footer.

· Add the copyright notice “979-8-3503-9416-0/23/$31.00 ©2023 IEEE” to the bottom of the first page of your source document.

· Mark a “*” next to the corresponding author's name, and add a note of “* Corresponding author.” in the place of footnote. The corresponding author is not marked in the LaTeX template, and this item must be added.

Step 2: IEEE Xplore Compatibility of PDF File

 

Convert your paper from your source application format to Xplore-compatible PDF using IEEE PDF eXpress Plus. Please use the following website to convert your source files into an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF file.

Enter the following:

· 60872X for the Conference ID

· your email address

· a password

Continue to enter information as prompted.

The first time you access the system, please follow the link “Create account” to new user. Please note that, in order to access the service, you need to allow the use of cookies from the PDF eXpress website. Once you have registered as a new user:

1.  Upload the source file that contains your paper for conversion

2.  Receive by email the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of your paper.

Step 3: Camera Ready Submission

 

Login to your Easy Chair Author system: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=hdis2023

Upload your manuscript and submit your final camera ready through the system.

For each accepted paper, click “My Submission” – “Update file” and then upload the final version.

Note:

Please also upload the following materials in the Supplementary material field.

· A point-by-point response to reviewer comments.

· A marked version of your manuscript.

· LaTeX/Word Source files

The final camera-ready paper is due on November 1, 2023, AoE Time. This is a firm deadline for the production of the proceedings.

 


Step 4: Complete the Registration and Pay the Registration Fee

 

Registration of paper must be done by one of author(s) of paper. Otherwise, the paper cannot be included into the conference proceedings.

Warm Tips: The early bird registration deadline is November 7, 2023.

 


Step 5: Electronic IEEE Copyright Submission

 

The submitter of the accepted paper will receive an email from IEEE. This email will provide the authors with a link to the online eCF wizard, as well as a unique login name and password to access their own copyright forms. When an author completes the online copyright transfer process and submits the form, he/she will receive an automated confirmation email letting him/her know that the transfer has been completed successfully.

The copyright transfer should be completed within 3 days after receiving the email.

Warm Tips: The Electronic IEEE Copyright email will be sent after November 2, 2023
